 DAYS OF GRUNWALD 2012 



"Days of Grunwald" - every year they take place around 15th of July with the reconstruction of the big battle.
At this time there'll be about 4000 knights in the knight camp. There are many attractions at this site, such as medieval workshops making coins, swords, armour, baking bread etc. You can not only watch how the products are being made but also buy them.
The reconstruction of the big medieval Battle of Grunwald is the main point during the fest. There's about 1000 knight taking part in the event including 50 horse riders, who show more complicated stunt issues. The tourists can also visit The King Jagiello and The Great Teutonic Master's tents and see the exhibition of the medieval clothes and armour.

12.07.2012 - Thursday:
  • Board game competition
  • Archery competition
  • 10.00 - 13.00 One-hand sword competition - first part.
  • 13.00 - International Championship of the Medieval Soccer "Grunwald 2012" (European Championship 2012)
  • 15.00 - 18.00 Melte (the competition for the knights' teams in a real fight)



13.07.2012 - Friday:
  • 12.00 - "Grunwaldzkie wici" - a historical performance
  • 13.00 - The big medieval mass in the Great Master's camp
  • 13.00 - Archery competition
  • 14.00 - 16.30 One-hand sword competition - final round
  • 17.00 - The mock-reconstruction of the Big Battle of Grunwald
  • 19.00 - Five-knight teams competition



14.07.2012 - Saturday:
  • 10.00 - "De Divisione Apostolorum" - the mass
  • 11.00 - The official part
  • 15.00 - the knights leave their camp
  • 16.00 - The reconstruction of The Battle of Grunwald
  • 17.00 - A medieval music concert
  • 20.00 - Boghurt - The Grunwald horse riding competition
  • 21.00 - The Grunwald horse riding competition - for Ladies and Youth
  • 22.00 - Joust - The Grunwald horse riding competition - real fights
